Data Deletion Instructions
Effective 13 October 2026
This page explains how to have your data deleted. It covers the STRELKA newsletter and Strelka Publisher, the internal tool the developer uses to post to his own Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts.
What data we may hold
- Your email address, if you signed up for the newsletter.
- Data received through Strelka Publisher from Facebook, Instagram and YouTube: mainly public comments on our own posts and videos (the commenter's name, the comment text and its time). The full list is in the privacy policy.
How to request deletion
- Email fyrlov@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion".
- Include the email address, username or account name the data relates to, for example your newsletter address or your Facebook, Instagram or YouTube name.
- You do not need to explain why.
Remove app access yourself
- Facebook: Settings and privacy > Settings > Apps and websites, then remove "Strelka Publisher".
- Instagram: Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites, then remove "Strelka Publisher".
- Google and YouTube: open https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions and remove access for Strelka Publisher.
Removing access stops the app from using an account that was connected to it. Data it already received, such as comments, is deleted when you email us as above.
When it's done
- We delete your data within 7 days of your request and confirm by email.
- For the newsletter you can also use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email: it removes you from the list immediately.
More detail is in the privacy policy, under How to delete your data.
